Well, it was worth the work and the wait! Indy's BEST Bridal Show was BEAUTIFUL! Thank you to everyone who supported our first effort behind the scence and all around

My wonderfully supportive friend and landscaper extrodinaire Brenda of Creative Landscapes.

Ms. Angela Perez, my intern for the day from Ball State University was just priceless!

The Final Touches...M.T. D. llc registration team ready to greet our guest. (Brenda, Erica, Lemuel, Nila made the day run smooth.

Last but certainly not least, my coordinator of the day, Ms. Roberta Tisdul. I couldn't have anyone better to keep everything flowing. THANK YOU will seems so inadequate.
There will be more pics of the show at www.indysbestbridalshow.com. We are working on another guest speaker from "Whose Wedding is it Anyway? I'll let you know who it is as soon as we settle all the paper work. I think you'll be surprised!!!
It was a BEAUTIFUL weekend here in Indy. As I prepared an event this weekend, I took time to look at the beautiful fall foilage as I drove to Heavenly Sweets Cakes. The sunshine through the blue skys and changing colors was breathtaking!
I am just returning from a wonderful second honeymoon in Palo Alto, CA where I...
...toured a redwood forest while riding in a vintage 1880's railcar. Music and a live curator made the trip romantic and informative. We ended with lunch in San Jose, CA. This facility has beautiful grounds for picnics and offers the trains for weddings and special coporate parties.
...dined along the shore of Montrery, CA while watching seagulls, ...dined in Monterey,CA for lunch while seagulls and otters hunted for theirs also.
...toured a hilltop vineyard in Moutainview, CA on horseback overlooking the most breathtaking vista I have ever witnessed.
I would like to thank my wonderful husband for surprising me with such a delightful experience. It was a much needed get away! He definitely took the romance to a new level. I am always treated like a QUEEN! BUT this was very special... Three weeks...just US... YOU and ME, Love Always and Forever!
Now, I have hit the ground running...or glowing...whichever...

Things are moving along quickly! It is busy, busy, busy in our offices! The Fall 2008 schedule is booking up quickly,so much so that the design and planning for these events have everyone on their toes.
Indy's BEST Bridal Show 2008 is a little less than 90 days away. This show is taking on a life of its own. I am so excited to have secured our featured guest speaker from "Whose Wedding Is It Anyway?" I really never expected to get a reply to my request.
This year the motto for taking my businesses to the next level has been "It doesn't hurt to ask". This has really been very beneficial in many ways.
I have found that there are many people willing to help, they just have never been approached. Indy's BEST Bridal Show 2008 vendor list is mostly made of people in the specail events business that I truly admire. Their passion for what they do is what we have in common. I truly appreciate all the support they have given in producing this project.
THANK YOU!
The Etiquette School of Indiana is in its second year and classes are now forming for classes to start after August 2008.
I have been asked to be the Circle Center Classic Cornonation official etiquette consultant. There are approximately 24 girls participating this year.
The program is also partnering with several charter and private schools around the state.
That's what's going on around here! I've got to get back to work. I am trying to get a little more consistent in posting. I enjoy reading others, I hope you enjoy mine!

L'Nique's Mother's Day Get Away
L'Nique, started by Ms. Urshela Milliedge, of Portage, IN is a group of married women who meet once a month to support each other. Their main focus is providing healthy happy homes for their families. The group provides a much needed support system through meetings and family centered events. L'Nique members live througout Indiana.
Final Touches...designed a Mother's Day Get Away Spa Day at the Indianapolis Hilton North. The ladies truly enjoyed full body massages by Jason. The L'Nique ladies have renamed him "HANDS". Monica rejuvenated hands and feet with manicures and pedicures. Ms. Donna Davidson, surgical tech for Clarian commented that she "forgot that her hands could look so nice." Monica and Jason can both be found at Phillipe's Day Spa.
The ladies gnoshed on garden veggie pizza, spinach and shrimp hors'd'ourves and sipped on a signature punch that were all designed to be figure friendly and supplied by Final Touches...Make a Difference, llc.
This month the ladies were given ways to be more positive in their every day lives. To help, each member attending received some reading materials and a special gift bag with items to assist them with this month's exercise in being more aware of the positive.
Later that evening the L'Nique ladies all piled in cars and headed out to a wonderful dinner at the Mongolian Bar B Que Grill. The ladies returned to their suite for cocktails and girl talk.
Mother's Day morning the L'Nique Ladies experienced a wonderful brunch that the Indianapolis Hilton -North provided. The waffles and strawberries were to die for. Steve and Shawn worked their culinary magic.
A special thanks to Mr. Tory Worland, Director of Catering and Mr. Eddie Phelps at the Indianapolis Hilton North. Your entire staff gave us five star service the entire weekend. Kudo's to you!
Everyone was packed up and back on their way home by one o'clock ready to return to their families!

It is very exciting working with people who are preparing to celebrate a special occasion. I am very blessed to have the opportunity to work with nice people. New clients and referrals are always a thrill to meet.
It is the professionalism of the supporting Indianapolis special events industry that really help make me shine!
